Criminal Illegal Eviction Charges Dismissed
The Law Offices of Michael H. Ricca P.C. represented a client who was charged with Unlawful Eviction. It was alleged that the client turned off both the heat and hot water to a tenant in default of their rental obligations. Mr. Ricca’s early involvement in the case allowed the client to surrender and be released nearly immediately. Mr. Ricca was able to pre-negotiate a station house release on own recognizance. This allowed the client to avoid a lengthy stay in custody, as well as avoid the in-custody arrest and arraignment process. Finally, Mr. Ricca and his team were able to secure a dismissal by the court of all charges without having to go through a lengthy and costly trial.
I had a great experience with Michael. He took my case with short notice, he advised me expertly, his fees were reasonable, he was extremely organized, payment was easy and uncomplicated, and as a mom with two kids who works full-time and commutes into Manhattan from Long Island (and is always running around short on time), it was critical to have an attorney that was extremely on top of things because I couldn't be. Best of all, Michael was able to convince the judge to not reduce my points, but eliminate them in exchange for a few hours of community service which was the best case scenario for me. I highly recommend him and although, I never want to get a traffic violation again, if I do, I know exactly who to call. Thank you Michael!

Michael handled my speeding ticket like a professional. He was excellent on the phone. He explained the entire process to me very thoroughly. He reduced my 79 in a 55 speeding ticket to a parking ticket.

Mr. Ricca was able to swiftly dismiss criminal charges that were lodged against me without me ever appearing in court. He was knowledgeable, professional, and a fraction of the price of what other lawyers wanted to charge me.
